Adblue improves emissions

Adblue is an operating fluid, not a fuel additive, used in diesel-powered lorries to improve their emissions.

Adblue is kept in a separate tank to the fuel, and sprayed on to exhaust fumes using a catalytic converter. This process converts nitrogen oxide to simple nitrogen and water, thereby reducing the amount of harmful emissions in exhausts.

Using Adblue makes it possible for diesel-powered freight trucks to comply the Euro IV and V emission standards.
